Here is our review of Michael Webb's 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets.
Michael is an authority on relationships, romance, and lovemaking. He has written many books on these topics that have become best-sellers, and has also appeared on television, on the radio, and in magazines.
Although 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets is the first book we've read by Michael, he has a unique perspective and a wisdom that shines through in his writing. It's obvious in his work that he is drawing on years of his own experience, and unlike some of the substandard products out there, 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets is not an e-book that was copied and pasted from articles on the Internet. It's 100 great pages of easy-to-read, ready-to-use sex tips for couples.
The book is split into four parts: The first part contains general information on sex and a guide on how to apply the advice found in the book. The second part focuses on the tips themselves. The third part lists the most common lubricants with their pros and cons - along with tips on when to use them. Finally, the last part of the book describes several basic lovemaking positions with drawings to illustrate each. According to Michael, these are the most comfortable, and most other positions you may have heard or read about are slight variants of these.
You can give relationship advice from many perspectives. Different people have different needs, and while some might enjoy going to swinger clubs or sleeping with a new partner every week, others are looking for stable and happy relationships. On the first few pages, Michael outlines his views of sexuality. It's a more conservative view that some of us might agree with or not (let's just say he doesn't advocate going to swinger clubs or taking part in threesomes), but we were pleasantly surprised that the actual lovemaking tips were very openminded and intended for a larger audience. Whatever your religion or views on sex might be, we're pretty sure everyone will find something they can use in this book.
Overall, we really enjoyed reading 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets. The tips are great, and whether you're looking to spice up your sex life a bit or to establish more intimacy in your relationships or with your wife, Michael's book is highly recommended. We give it 5 stars.
